Kelly Ripa had studied ballet since the age of three and also plays the piano. Kelly Ripa was born on October 2, 1970 in Camden County, New Jersey. Her mother is Esther, a homemaker, and father Joseph Ripa, a labor union president and bus driver. Kelly Ripa became popular when she had been performing in her Senior high school play The Ugly Duckling . At that time she was inspired by her current manager, Cathy Parker for pursuing acting. She got married with her co-star on All My Children Mark Consuelos on May 1, 1996 . They have three children. Kelly Ripa has won five Soap Opera Digest Awards for playing Hayley on All My Children and 8 nominations for Daytime Emmy Awards. In April 1996, she won a Daytime Emmy Award for co-hosting Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade with Regis Philbin and Ryan Seacrest.
